What we collect, why, and how to opt out.
We use PostHog analytics, served from our own domain, to understand which guides help people: the pages you view, the links and buttons you use, how far you scroll, searches (the length of the query, not its text), Core Web Vitals performance measurements, and recordings of how pages are used — scrolling, clicks and what is typed on the page — so we can see where a guide is confusing. Your IP address is discarded as the data arrives; it is used only to derive a city-level location and is never stored.
Contact-form submissions are stored so we can reply; they are never sold or shared. The name, email and message fields are excluded from recordings, and the only analytics event a submission creates says which page it came from.
Analytics and recordings are per browser and off by default for Do Not Track users. When you send the contact form we record one anonymous "lead submitted" event containing only the page it came from — never your name, email or message — so we can tell which guides help; it is not linked to you if analytics is off. Analytics in this browser: on.. It takes effect immediately and can be undone the same way — no account or cookie clearing needed.
